European School of Antennas presents
Antennas and Propagation for Body-Centric Wireless Communications
20 – 24 April 2009
Queen Mary, University of London
Mile End Road, London, UK
The European School of Antennas (ESoA) presents a course on Antennas & Propagation for Body-Centric Wireless Communication. The course addresses the main issues related to body-centric wireless communications from antennas and radio propagation prospective including measurement techniques, statistical analysis, analytical and numerical studies and system-related aspects of such communication networks. The course will introduce the current state-of-the-art and potential development in the area including challenges and theoretical limitations. Concepts such as diversity antennas, MIMO systems, UWB communications, etc. will be covered in this course with relation to theoretical and practical aspects. Click here to download the ESoA course leaflet!
**The course registration will include a one-day IET Seminar on Antennas & Propagation for Body-Centric Wireless Communications**
Monday 20th April 2009, IET Savoy Place, London, UK

Accommodation
Queen Mary, University of London, Mile End campus is situated in the heart of London's east end and it is easily accessible by public transport (buses or trains) with two underground stations surrounding the campus (Mile End on the central line and Stepney Green on the district and Hammersmith & city line).
On-campus accommodation facilities are quite restricted during the period of the course which means that off-campus accommodation needs to be arranged. Fortunately, the mile end campus is not far from the city centre and also many facilities surrounding the area. Here are some suggestions for nearby and London city centre accommodation:
