Biography

Raffaele Di Bari received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering in Pisa University, Italy, in 2005 and he achieved his Ph.D. on MIMO-OFDM systems from Brunel University, UK, in 2009.  From 2006 to 2009 he was a researcher at the Networks and Multimedia Communications Group at Brunel University, West London, UK, investigating the physical layer optimisation of Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) systems and participating to the IST FP6 PLUTO project. From Sept. 2009 to May 2010, he has been at Surrey Space Centre at University of Surrey, UK, as Research Assistant, designing a Dual-Polarized Printed S-Band Radar Array Antenna for Spacecraft Applications. He is currently Research Assistant at Antennas and Electromagnetic Group, Queen Mary University. His current research interests focuses on on-body measurements, channel modelling, sensor network routing protocol, and Software Defined Radio programming, for cooperative networks. He is a reviewer for several international conferences and for IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting.
