Project title: Assessment of Magnetic Materials for Use in Quasi-optical Non-reciprocal Devices Operating at Frequencies above 90 GHz.

Biography

Bin Yang received the B.Sc degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China, in 2001 and the M.Sc degree from the Queen Mary, University of London, U.K., in 2004. He is currently working toward the Ph.D degree at Queen Mary University of London, U.K.  His main research interest is accurate measurement of magnetic and dielectric materials, which are used to design high performance quasi-optical Faraday rotators at millimeter and submillimeter-wave frequencies.
