Project title: High Power Chaos Generation in Crossed-Field Plasma-Filled Diode

Biography

Daohui Li received both his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1999 and 2002, respectively. Then he joined the Department of Electric Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London as a research student to pursue Ph.D. degree from 2003 and obtained the degree of Ph.D in 2006. From January 2007, he began to work as a post doctoral research assistant in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London, UK. His main research interests are in the fields of electromagnetic computation, nonlinear dynamics in various planar or cylindrical diodes and high power chaos generation in crossed-field microwave generators. (IEEE member since 2003)
