Project title: Millimetre Wave Imaging for Concealed Weapon Detection

Biography

Lianhong Zhang obtained BSc and MSc in radio physics, electronic science and engineering department, Nanjing University, China, MSc and PhD in electronic engineering from school of electronic engineering and computer science, Queen Mary, University of London.   From 1995 to 1997, he was an antenna engineer with Aerospace & Aeronautical Corporation, Shanghai, China. From 1997 to 2005 he was a satellite communication engineer with ST Teleport, Singapore. He has been working as a postdoctoral research assistant in antenna and electromagnetics lab, school of electronic engineering and computer science, Queen Mary, University of London since March 2011. His research is in the area of millimetre wave imaging for concealed target detection.
