Project title: Exploiting Gigabit Powerline Communicaiton

Biography

Shuxian Chen received the B.Sc degree in Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 2004. The M.Sc degree in Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, London, UK, in 2005, and the Ph.D degree in 2009. Her Ph.D thesis topic is: Ultra wideband Gigabit Powerline Communications.

She is now working as a Research Assistant on in-home networking using powerline communications. Her research interests include powerline communication, ultra wideband communication, powerline transmission system design and modulation techniques.
