To submit your paper to ICA 2007, please go to:
Step 1: Create an accountTo create an account on the ICA 2007 submission system, go to ica2007.confmaster.net and choose Register as new author. If you wish, you may include your academic title (Prof/Dr/etc.) in the Academic Title field. Step 2: Prepare your paperSubmissions (full papers) may be up to 8 pages in length, including figures and references, in Springer's LNCS format. Submitted papers should be in single-column format, using a font no smaller than 10 points, except for the abstract, where a font of 9 points may be used. For templates and further instructions, see: Use the appropriate template for Proceedings and Other Multiauthor Volumes. Save your paper as a PDF document. To make sure your paper will print as intended, create your PDF document so that all fonts are embedded subsets. Step 3: Upload your paper for reviewOnce you have registered, to upload a paper, go to ica2007.confmaster.net and choose Register paper. (You will only see this option once you have logged in.) When uploading your paper, please choose Keywords which identify the topic area(s) of your paper. We will use these to help us assign the paper to reviewers with appropriate areas of expertise. Please upload your paper in PDF format only (max 5 MB). Revising your paperYou may revise your uploaded paper at any time up to the submission deadline. To revise a submitted paper, go to go to ica2007.confmaster.net and choose View own papers, select the paper you wish to revise, then upload a new PDF file.

No, reviewing is not double-blind. Please prepare the paper in the final format with author names included.
(However, as is normal practice the reviewers will remain anonymous: their identities will not be disclosed to the authors when feedback is returned.)
No: submission has already been extended to Friday 30 March 2007, but will not be extended any further.
The submission system will close not before midnight 30 March 2007 in any time zone, up to UTC-12. So in Alaska, where it is currently UTC/GMT-8, you have until 2am the following morning. In Central Europe, where it is currently UTC/GMT+2, you would have until 2pm the following day. However, we recommend that you upload your paper well before the deadline, in case of any difficulties.

Please prepare the camera-ready copy of your paper following closely the instructions on the Springer website, at
(or go to Lecture Notes in Computer Science, follow the link to Information for LNCS Authors and Volume Editors and from there to Information for LNCS Authors).
Make sure that your paper fits into 8 (EIGHT) pages without altering the standard margins, font sizes, and vertical spacing of the document template.
If you are an author of multiple papers, make sure that your name is spelt consistently in all your submissions (to make sure the author index is correct).

IMPORTANT: Please make sure we receive your copyright form by the deadline. If we do not receive your copyright form in time, we will not be able to include your paper in the proceedings!
Springer require your submission as a collection of source files, together with a PDF file for checking.
For papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX, these would include:
The text in your LaTeX files, DVI file and PDF file must be identical.
For word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX, these would include:
The text in your RTF source files and the final PDF file must be identical.
Pack your source files, together with a scanned completed copyright form (unless the form is being faxed), into EITHER
To upload your source files and copyright form, go to
Select "View own papers" to see the papers you are an author on.
Select the "upload or update uploaded paper" icon:
This will allow you to upload a file of type ".zip" or ".gz" (.tar.gz), of size up to 5MB. (If your archive is larger than 5MB, please contact us immediately for assistance).
Browse to the archive of source files (and copyright form) you created in Step 4 above, and click Submit to upload.
Deadline: 1 June 2007.

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to attend the conference to present the work.
Please register by 14 June 2007 to ensure your paper appears in the conference programme and proceedings. Papers with no registered authors after 14 June 2007 may be removed from the conference programme and proceedings.
The volume editors will gather and check the contributions, decide in which order they are to appear in the printed volume and will send the complete material on to Springer.
Springer will build the final proceedings from your source files. Please be ready to respond immediately to any queries they may have.
