Biography

I was born in Brasilia, Brazil, in 1982. In 2005 I took a BSc in Electric Engineering at Universidade de Brasilia (UnB) and, in 2008, I took a M.Sc. also in Electric Engineering, under the supervision of Prof. Ricardo L. de Queiroz. Through 2008, I was working as a Graduate Researcher at the Digital Signal Processing Group at UnB, working on the topic of Distributed Video Coding and Transcoding. I also worked as a software developer for BRISA in 2005. since November 2008, I am a PhD student at Queen Mary, University of London, working on Video Transcoding.
