Research Topic: Model based 3D vision synthesis and analysis for production audit of installations

Research Scope: To support aircraft installation audit using safety engineer input, prior model CATIA knowledge about industrial installations available for each of the subparts of the installation components so called DMU (Digital Mock-Ups).

Research interests: Model based 3D Vision synthesis and analysis, 3D reconstruction and recognition using multiview stereo images, Multimedia systems, Visual Attention

Biography

I was born in Cuddalore, India in 1980. I have obtained BTech (Information Technology) from School of Engineering and Technology, Bharathidasan University (currently Anna University, Trichy) and M.S (Computer Science) from National University of Singapore in 2003 and 2007 respectively. I have worked as software engineer at Mahindra Satyam for 2 years. I have also worked as Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, Bharathidasan University from Oct 2003 to Dec 2004. Currently, I am a final year PhD student at Queen Mary, University of London, working on Model based 3D vision synthesis and analysis for production audit of installations.
