Biography

I completed my BMus (Hons) (Tonmeister) in Music and Sound Recording at the Institute of Sound Recording (IoSR) at the University of Surrey (1999-2003), including a one-year industrial placement at Meridian Audio Ltd (2001-2002). I went on to complete my MSc in Digital Signal Processing at Queen Mary, University of London (2003-2004), and joined the Centre for Digital Music at Queen Mary to study for a PhD, entitled "Computational Tonality Estimation: Signal Processing and Hidden Markov Models" (2004-2009). In 2006 I joined the teaching staff, teaching modules relating to DSP, Audio, and Music.
