Research InterestsMy research has covered many topics over the years, mostly in music and audio, but also computer vision for about a decade. Things I still look after today include: Music Information Retrieval, Music Informatics, Semantic Web for Music, Semantic Audio, Intelligent Editing Systems, 3D Sound. In the past, I have published quite widely on: Digital Audio Power Amplification, Sigma-Delta Modulation, Scalable Audio, Wavelet-based Compression, Multi-processor architectures, Hough Transform, Low-level Computer Vision, Fractals and Chaos in Audio, High Order Recursive Filter Structures, Acoustic Drum Analysis Synthesis. |
