CRiSAP: Creative Research in Sound Arts Practice

Abstract

Sound art or sonic art is a rapidly expanding field of creative activity in all areas of media, performing arts, fine art practice, software development and engineering. It is, in fact, anything involving the creative use of sound or the tools and equipment to make, capture, record and manipulate sound. This seminar will introduce some of the wide variety of practices in the sound arts and discuss some of the work that CRiSAP hopes to undertake in the next few years.
