Research SeminarsVector quantization of images and videosMarzia Corvaglia, TLC group, University of Brescia, ItalyMonday 20 March 2006, 4:00pm, Room 105AbstractA set of images or video frames can be represented by means of a Vector Quantization (VQ). This means that a visual codebook can be built starting from the color information of one or more selected images/frames. The obtained codebook represents a compact and meaningful indicator of the semantics of the initial set of images/frames. |
