BSc(Eng) Interactive Media Design (3 years) NEW!

The media market has grown fast in the past few years. Currently, there is significant industrial interest in technological developments related to interactive media design. This is reflected in the extremely high research, development and commercial activities in the field world-wide. As an example, the Multimedia and Vision Lab at Queen Mary, University of London has managed to secure over £2 million research funding including cooperative projects with key industry media players. This reflects the need for skilled young graduates in the area.

Media design and management is becoming a pillar of modern artistic and informative structure of human thinking and communication. This programme is intended to respond to a growing demand in the industry for engineers with a high level of training in multimedia systems, interactive media design, media management, 3D graphics programming, computer-driven animation, web-based advertisement production, and management and planning of media assets.

This programme is intended for students who wish to learn about the technology of production of multimedia material. The focus will be on the design and deployment of multimedia applications and it will appeal to students who wish to develop more practical, technical and commercial skills in the development of multimedia systems.
