European Workshop on Image Analysis for Multimedia Interactive Services
In cooperation with the European Network of Excellence
in
Content-Based Semantic Scene Analysis and Information Retrieval
WIAMIS is the main international forum for the presentation and discussion
of the latest technological advances in interactive multimedia services,
sponsored by the European Union. The objective of the workshop is to bring
together researchers and developers from academia and industry working
in all areas of image, video and audio applications. After Louvain’97,
Berlin’99 and Tampere’01, WIAMIS’03 is the fourth in
the series held bi-annually since 1997. It will be hosted by Queen Mary,
University of London in the vibrant city of London.
Accepted papers will
be published in the Workshop Proceedings.
Extended versions of selected papers recommended by the technical program
committee and IEEE guest editors will be reviewed for publications in
the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology: "Special
Issue on Audio and Video Analysis for Multimedia Interactive Services".
